Step 2: Login to DVR using the default username/password: admin
Step 3: Click on the System Config Button:
Step 4: Select the user account and click "EDIT" button
Step 5: Enter the new password you desire and click the "APPLY" button. You're done.

How to change password for AV Tech DVR
Step 1: Download and install remote management; click the Download AP button shown below:
Step 2: Login to DVR using the default username/password: admin
Step 3: Click on the System Config Button:
Step 4: Select the user account and click "EDIT" button
Step 5: Enter the new password you desire and click the "APPLY" button. You're done.

Raymond, I am searching the answer of how to reset AV Tech DVR password. Any clue ?
I have created a guest login and another user login. I remember clearly I did not change my Admin passowrd. Not sure why I cant log in at all today.
Saw the manual it did gives me default password info but how do i do that ?
Do I connect my laptop to the dvr ? Hope u can help btw not IT savy so u have to try to use :-) very simple terms.
